Week 9 Major Markets Trending and Performance

Lot of discussions and expectations on the market. But price trends tell the story. So, let us look at that.

There is most definitely an improvement in the trending. We can see all the major markets trying to go higher. However, so far, none of them have actually turned short-term bullish.

Looking at the week-over-week performance:

Big gains for all the major markets after 2-3 weeks of losses.

The performance over various periods also paint a picture.

What this is telling me is that we have been zig-zagging month-to-month up and down without a lot of volatility. It has been orderly, but the bulls and bears have not been able to decide what the market should do. One would think that the first few days of March have been good, so the markets are likely to be up for the month. However, the markets look range bound to me and I intend to play accordingly. Right this moment I am positioned slightly short expecting a give back of the massive gains from last week.
