Week 51 Global Markets Trending and Performance
Trending Heat Map
A lot more amber this week in comparison to last week. Hong Kong and China seems to be holding up better than the others. The European countries were looking good a few back and are no longer so. Interesting to see Taiwan and Singapore not doing well. Usually, I have seen they move in tandem with China.
Week-over-Week Performance
Taiwan had a freefall and so did Brazil. Every market was down for the 2nd week in a row except Hong Kong which was up last week.
Performance 2022
There is no standout market that is tradable or investable at this time. If anything, one can play from the short side. If I had to, I would short the European countries like UK, France and Germany. But there are good shorting opportunities within the US markets. So, for now I am going to stick to those. This analysis does bear out that global markets are performing similar to the US markets and there is really no place to hide at this time.
