Week 27 Markets Review

I can sense and feel that the markets are reversing. They have not yet reversed though. And I need to be patient and actually “see” them reverse. If and when I see that reversal, I can follow the trend and take my actions. Not before that.

Summary Observations:

1. Among major markets IWM and DIA are trending short-term bearish.

2. Among the SPX Sectors

   1. XLV turned perfectly bearish.

   2. XLE and XLF looking stronger than the rest.

3. In Technology there is some softening with SMH, IGV and ARKG turning short-term bearish.

4. In Energy OIH, XOP and IEO confirming the strength of XLE. Renewable energy weakening.

5. In Commodities the precious metals may be gaining strength.

6. Among Alternate sectors

   1. The bond ETFs all weakening and trending bearish (JNK, LQD, HYG)

   2. ITB weakened.
