Week 26 Day 1 Market Review

Just a quick note to check-in on how the first trading day was. Note that this is also the last week of the quarter and the half year. While I do not know if traditionally markets are more volatile around these periods, the VIX was up +6% today up to 14.25.

It was not a good day with the markets today. All of the trend changes were instruments turning bearish. That does not mean things cannot reverse quickly. They can but we need to see them do it.

Note that the trend is solely determined based on the crossover of the MACD line below or above the signal line. This should not be the sole indicator used for trading. It just tells me a directional bias.
