Alternate Sectors Assessment

Yesterday, I covered the assessment of the major stock markets and the individual sectors. You can read it here. We saw that out of the major stock markets only the Emerging Markets has actually turned bullish. And out of the 15 sectors that I cover only 5 have reversed and trending bullish at this time.

Today I want to look at some of the alternate sectors. Here is the assessment table:

We see that 4 of the 14 I track are trending bullish now. However, all of the 14 had a positive week last week. The question will be whether they can actually turn bullish next week.

Energy still rules. Interestingly, alternative energy is also trending bullish.

One of my criteria for analyzing these sectors was volume. All of these have good enough volume to trade. I usually trade using options. So, will have to see what volumes the options on these have and go from there.
